How much does bridal makeup cost at SminkUp?
Bridal makeup at SminkUp starts at ₹20,000 per function. Final pricing depends on the number of functions and any add-ons like hairstyling or draping.
Does SminkUp offer a trial before the wedding?
Yes. A trial is approximately 1.5 hours for hair or makeup, and 2.5 hours for both, since we show you a couple of looks in the session. If you're not happy at the trial, you're not committed to book — you're only liable for the trial and any travel charges incurred.
How should I prepare for my hair and makeup trial?
For hair, it's best to wash it the night before and avoid straighteners or heated tools, as that affects the hair shaft and makes it harder to re-style. On the day, arrive with a clean, makeup-free face and freshly washed, dry hair.
Do I need to pay a deposit to book?
Yes — we take a deposit at the time of booking to confirm the team officially for your event dates. This also applies to holding a trial date, since our artists' diaries fill up quickly.
How long should I allow for hair and makeup on my wedding day?
As a rough guide, allow 2 hours for bridal hair and makeup, and about 1 hour per person for others in the bridal party (sister, mother, etc.).
What is the groom makeover cost?
Groom makeover is ₹5,000 — contact our admin desk for more details.
Are there extra charges for hair extensions, extra saree draping, or fleetings?
Yes, these are charged separately — costs are confirmed with our admin desk before your event.
How long will your team be at the venue?
Our commitment per event is generally 4 hours; waiting charges apply beyond that. Please contact our admin desk for specifics on your event.

Yes, we take outstation bookings with an additional travel charge of roughly ₹5,000–₹20,000 depending on distance.

We recommend booking 3-6 months in advance, especially during peak wedding season, to secure your preferred date.
What makeup brands does SminkUp use?
We use premium international brands including Bobbi Brown, NARS, Dior, Chanel, MAC, Krylon and Sephora to build looks that hold up under flash photography and long wedding days.
Can SminkUp do makeup for guests and family, not just the bride?
Yes — our party and guest makeup service starts at ₹10,000 per person and is available for bridal party members and family guests.
Where is SminkUp Makeup Studio located?
Our studio is in Ameerpet, Hyderabad (#8-3-222/1/D, Metro Pillar No: C1481, Madhura Nagar Metro Station Exit Gate-A, Madhura Nagar, Ameerpet, Hyderabad, TS-500038). We also travel to venues across the city and beyond.
Does SminkUp offer hairstyling and saree draping?
Yes, hairstyling, saree draping, second saree draping, saree pre-pleating, and lehenga draping are all available as add-on services.
What is your cancellation policy?
Booking deposits confirm your event dates and are non-refundable. If your wedding is postponed, the deposit can move to one new date within 12 months (with at least 20 days' notice), at no extra charge.
