By booking a consultation, trial, or service with SminkUp Makeup Studio, you agree to the following terms.

Cancellation Policy

We take a deposit at the time of booking to confirm the team officially for your event dates. Paying this deposit is your agreement to these Terms and Conditions.

Your event date is confirmed only once we have received your booking deposit by credit/debit card, bank transfer, or another agreed payment method. You will receive a booking confirmation once the deposit is received.

The booking deposit is non-refundable for any reason (including acts of God, fire, pandemic, illness, strike, and/or extreme weather).

If your wedding is postponed, the deposit can move to one new date, with no extra charge, provided the new date is within 12 months and we're informed at least 20 days in advance. The deposit itself remains non-refundable.

If you book more than one team, each deposit applies only to that artist's part of the booking and cannot be transferred to another artist if you proceed with only part of the booking.

Reducing the size of your booking once a deposit has been paid is at the discretion of your artist(s); the deposit is not adjustable once confirmed.

Travel & Accommodation Policy

If our team is travelling more than 3 hours for your event, you'll need to provide accommodation and food for the team. Contact our admin desk for details.

For destination/outstation weddings, travel costs may vary — we always keep them as low as possible and will inform you of any changes.

Trial Make-Up Policy

During busy periods it may not always be possible to schedule trials on weekends, particularly Saturdays.

Cancelling a trial with less than 24 hours' notice means the full trial cost is still chargeable, and a new trial date will need to be paid for separately.

Trials held at your home carry an additional travel cost.

If you're not happy with your trial and choose not to proceed with the booking, we'll offer one more trial with a different team at no extra cost, at our studio.

Any skin condition or allergy should be reported to us before application; a patch test may be performed if needed.
